Really nice to see some video of coastguard rescue teams in action.
Something that struck me though, would helmets always be worn for a land search? It just seemed a little strange...
Helmets should be worn all the time when on an incident as it forms part of the officers PPE (Personal Protection Equipment). Common sense is usual used but when on a search you may suddenly be working with a helicopter or under a cliff for example so instead of carrying it, its best to be on your head just in case.
