Leaving our shores

Im sure many of you saw on the television the departure of the QE2 from Southampton for the last time.

The ship certainly flies the flag for this country and its such a shame to see it go for the last time.

Whilst I never got the chance to go on board I remember the ship back in 1982 when she was returning from the Falkland Island, for some reason she sat off Swanage before taking the troops back up the Solent.

A memorable moment for many Im sure.
