Coastguard and a Royal Navy Bomb Disposal team have this morning dealt with a unexploded wartime shell.
The item was located near to Middle Beach Studland and a cordon was put on to protect the public.
We would like to thank the National Trust , local businesses and the public for their assistance whilst the beach was closed for safety
