We were pleased to welcome Cllr. Chris Moreton, Swanage Deputy Mayor to the station tonight.
The visit was slightly delayed whilst the team were tasked to Shell Bay and a swimmer hanging on to a channel marker. A passing yacht picked the swimmer up before transferring him to Poole Lifeboat and back ashore to the team.
Chris thanked the team for their work in the community this year and was given an overview of the incidents during the year.
