To the many walkers on the beach, the sailing dinghy was going well and the windsurfer just kept falling in, to the Station Officer something was wrong.
Having watched this for a little while, the windsurfer falling in , the sailing dinghy going round and trying to pick the windsurfer it was time to act.
The National Maritime Operations Centre was called and details passed to them what was being seen , did it require the lifeboat ?
Well at that point the sailing dinghy managed to start pulling the windsurfer ashore so the lifeboat wasn't requested.
Meeting the windsurfer ashore he confirmed the board had broken and he was having a problem so was grateful that someone was actually keeping an eye out.
