The patrol were tasked by the National Maritime Operations Centre this afternoon after a request from Southwestern Ambulance.
A mountain biker had crashed coming down the hill and received serious injuries which required the male rider to be airlifted from the scene.
Rescue 106 from Portland was tasked and airlifted the rider to Poole after being treated by the Paramedics.
As ever in this location a special thanks to Mr Bowerman who assisted with transport and refreshments at the end of the incident.
