Know your safety equipment

A rescue over the weekend highlighted the need to ensure you know how to use your safety equipment safely!

When the owners of a motor boat got into difficulties, they reached for their phone, only for it to get very wet and it failed

They waved to a passing boat, only to be waved back at!

They went to fire a flare, only to find they were holding it upside down.

Thankfully a passing fishing boat stopped and took them safely on board.

Safety equipment is as it says on the tin.....however ensure you know how to use it in an emergency.
