Colleagues down in Lyme Regis were called out yesterday along with two helicopters , two lifeboats and a warship searching for a missing leisure diver.
The pair had decided to dismiss advice and go out on the water when one of them became overdue sparking the search.
Thankfully the diver was located and brought ashore to be met by Dorset Police who fined the pair.
So please , question is your “exercise “ vital and near to your home?
What if something does happen what are the consequences- don’t stretch emergency services resources by being dismissive of the guidelines.
