The volunteer Coastguard Officers were again requested to assist Dorset Police with a search just before midnight.
The National Maritime Operations Centre ( NMOC) were contacted by Dorset Police asking for assistance in searching for a missing female in the Old Harry area.
The NMOC tasked the Coastguard team along with both Swanage RNLI Lifeboats.
On arrival in the Old Harry area the Coastguard team deployed a 'hasty' search of the cliff top and located the female in a secluded part of the headland. The lady was transported safely back to Studland and on to hospital.
All units were back on station just after 2am
