Before anyone from the HSE has a panic attack, no he didn't really walk across the rope!Whilst Austen was wearing his personal protection equipment (PPE), he didn't have any safety harness on or rope. When working on anything safety is always a very important factor in the risk assessment, and the one of roles of the Officer in Charge is to keep a close eye on anything that is dangerous.
Just think what would have happened if he would have dropped that stake on his toe!
