Meanwhile over in Poole a new play area opened at Whitecliff.

But what’s this got to do with the Coastguard???

The Whitecliff Recreation Ground is situated close to Poole Hospital and is the designated landing area for the Coastguard Helicopter. The play area has been refurbished with play equipment in the shape of guess what….a helicopter!!!!

So an ideal PR opportunity for both Borough of Poole and the Coastguard….. and more importantly a great day out for the kids.

I know everyone was dead chuffed with the Sector Manager, Poole Team and the Helicopter crew for sorting this out. It looks like they are having fun (The Coastguard Helicopter Crew!!!!)
